Founded in 1967, Leti is a French technology research institute that pioneers micro- & nanotechnologies, with 91,500 sq.m. of cleanroom space, 1,900 researchers and a clear IP policy. The typical maturity level of Leti’s activity is within TRL3 and TRL6. With staff of more than 300, a portfolio of +500 patents, CEA Leti’s Optics and Photonics division has developed solid expertise in imaging (visible, infrared, THz, X, Gamma), information displays (AR/VR/MR applications), solid-state lighting, optical communications, optical sensors, etc. CEA-Leti photonics technologies are based on a wide range of materials, from III-V and II-VI materials, to 200 and 300 mm silicon wafers.
