Shin-Etsu MicroSi, Inc.
Booth Number: 1328
Descriptions:
Shin-Etsu MicroSi is a driving force in both the semiconductor and microelectronics industries worldwide. By infusing science and chemistry with innovation and collaboration, we create leading-edge solutions that turn possibilities into realities–while providing the proven quality and time-tested dependability on which our customers rely.
Shin-Etsu is on the forefront of developing new process technologies that help transfer parts and other materials involved in the manufacturing of Micro LED displays. With the size of a Micro LED chip being less than 50 micrometers and invisible to the naked eye, nearly 25 million chips can be needed to make one, high-quality, 4K display that has four times the resolution of a conventional high-definition screen.
Because of this, new processes and equipment are needed to implement improvements in the complexity and yield ratio in the processes of Micro LED chip manufacturing. Taking advantage of our unique materials technologies, Shin-Etsu Group companies have proceeded to develop various advanced innovative transfer equipment and parts to solve the key manufacturing challenges of Micro LED display manufacturing.
For example, employing our technology that utilizes laser equipment to transfer a singulated anisotropic conductive film (ACF) onto a targeted location makes the Micro LED manufacturing repair process much easier. In addition, we have developed many transfer parts and equipment to help meet the requests of our customers in improving productivity and working with a wide array of chips. These parts combined allow us to offer the most optimized manufacturing process to our customers and be seen as a “One-stop Shop” in Micro LED manufacturing.
- SQDP-B Series (Cure type donor plate)
- EZ-PETAMP Series (6-inch, multi-stage dot-type large stamp)
- Invisi LUM-X4 (4-in-1 system making it possible to perform 4 processes using 1 laser)
- BM encapsulant film for Mini LED displays.
