Description:
The industry needs oxide TFTs with mobility over 50cm2/Vs and excellent stability over large areas. Recently, polycrystalline oxide is of increasing interest because of its high mobility over 50cm2/Vs and low temperature (~400oC) crystallization in air. This seminar explains the comparison between amorphous and crystalline oxide TFTs and introduces recent advancements in the performance and stability of poly-oxide TFTs. The advantages and disadvantages of LTPS and LTPO TFT backplanes for OLED and microLED displays are included.
