Description:
The capture of complex human hand and body movements and interactions has applications in gaming, metaverse, sports, and health. Novel computer vision (CV), artificial intelligence (AI), and wearable technologies have been reported for real-time capture of these movements to empower more realistic and immersive applications. This talk presents some of the latest advances in smart wearables, apparel technologies, and AI for capturing human body, joints, and hand movements, interaction with objects, and assessment of muscle activities that unlock a variety of applications in gaming, remote health, neuromuscular rehab, augmented and virtual reality, fitness, and sports.
