Analysis of Quantum Well-Stacking Order in Multi-Quantum Well MicroLEDs

This study explores how stacking order affects InGaN-based micro-LEDs' emission using COMSOL simulations. Analyzing six RGB quantum well setups under different current injections, it finds that carrier dynamics and recombination are influenced by the sequence, with the n-InGaN-B-G-R-p-InGaN setup showing the best uniformity and efficiency. This offers insights for improving micro-LED performance in future devices.
