Phosphorescent Sensitizer Design for DET Suppression and Energy Transfer Analysis

Phosphor-sensitized fluorescence (PSF) is a well-established approach for optimizing device performances of organic light-emitting diodes. In this study, Pt-BPS was designed to minimize DET. We developed an integrated energy transfer model to quantify the rate constants of Förster resonance energy transfer and DET using Monte Carlo simulations. We fabricated PSF OLED and Pt-BPS significantly improved maximum EQEmax of 12.7% is observed.
