Low-Power, Programmable Emission Control Driver Using Oxide Thin-Film Transistors Operating in Depletion Mode

Description:

This paper presents a low-power programmable emission control driver using depletion-mode a-IGZO TFTs. By minimizing shoot=through currents and avoiding STT structure, PWM operation for AMOLED brightness control is achieved. Simulations show stable operation with VTH variations (–2V to +2V) and up to 66.0% power reduction.
