New Coating Polarizer with High Polarization Performance and Dimensional Stability

Description:
We successfully developed a coating-type polarizer with a dye with an order parameter over 0.97, transmittance of 42.3%, and polarization degree of 99.9%. This was achieved by crystallizing dye aligned along the liquid crystal at a microscopic scale. The polarizer does not require elongation, preventing shrinkage from temperature or humidity and ensuring dimensional stability. It provides excellent heat resistance for large-screen and flexible vehicle displays.
