Description:

In 2024, XDC presented a 70 ppi full-color microLED display with integrated infrared microLEDs and a touch-sensing light-trapping cover glass. That prototype leveraged microIC RGB drivers to control both the RGB microLEDs and the infrared microLEDs that were used to demonstrate optical sensing. Here, that work will be extended to a 140 ppi microLED display using microICs that control 16-pixel clusters.
