Impact of Spontaneous Orientation Polarization on Device Performance of Organic Light-Emitting Diodes
Invited
Description:
Spontaneous orientation polarization (SOP) occurs in the evaporated films of common organic light-emitting diode (OLED) materials. Polarization charges induced by SOP appear at the interfaces of stacked multilayer OLEDs, modifying charge injection and accumulation properties, and consequently influencing device performance. In this study, we investigate the impact of SOP on the efficiency and lifetime of Alq3-based OLEDs.
