The Development of Contrast Improvement Technology for Automotive Display

Description:

We have developed the new liquid crystal material that is specialized in maintaining transmittance, satisfying the response performance specific to automotive applications, and improving contrast. By reducing the scattering parameter of the liquid crystal material by approximately 30%, we have reduced the black transmittance and achieved a front contrast ratio of 2000:1. Furthermore, by combining the light control polarizer, it is estimated to achieve 2500:1.
