Status of the MicroLED Industry: Technology and Equipment Thrust Areas for Success

Description:
To succeed, microLED must deliver differentiating performance, at a cost similar to that of OLED. Progress have been significant over the last few years as illustrated by a proliferation of demos and prototypes with quality improving every year, however, a new impulse is needed in terms of technology, equipment and manufacturing infrastructure to move toward consumer-grade quality. This paper will look at the major thrust areas we identified.
