Diffraction Suppression Technique for Background Images in Curved Transparent Displays

Description:
Curved transparent displays suffer from diffraction disrupting background images. This study combines inverse phase retrieval with a customized simulated annealing algorithm to design Diffractive Optical Elements (DOEs), improving diffraction ratios from 42.261% to 65.752%. The results provide a scalable solution to enhance imaging quality for automotive, AR/VR, and under-display cameras.
