Mallem Kumar is a researcher in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering with a focus on several areas such as QLED, QELED, solar cells, MOSFETs, thin film transistors, FinFETs, and more. He completed his B.Tech in 2011 and M.Tech in 2014 in Electronics and Communication Engineering from JNTU-Kakinada, India. Currently, he is pursuing his Ph.D. studies in the Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in Hong Kong.

His research interests indicate a strong focus on semiconductor devices and their applications. QLEDs and QELEDs are quantum dot-based light-emitting devices that are being developed as next-generation displays, lighting sources, and sensors. Solar cells are devices that convert light into electricity, and MOSFETs, thin film transistors, and FinFETs are all types of transistors used in electronic circuitry.
