Florian De Roose received the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from KU Leuven, Belgium in 2013. In 2019, he received a Ph.D. degree with the MICAS Group, KULeuven, with a focus on mixed-signal design in thin-film technology on flex. Since 2013 he is with the large-area electronics group of imec, Leuven, where he is currently active as a researcher. He was involved in the successful H2020 projects DiCoMo, PING and PYCSEL, and is currently involved in the H2020 FLICS, and NEXIS projects. His interests include unipolar logic and memories, as well as sensor readout on flex, ultrasound array design and large-area imaging. Of special interest is the system design of large-area applications and the corresponding technology constraints.
