Florian De Roose, PhD, is a senior researcher at imec in Leuven, Belgium. He received his M.Sc and PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from KULeuven in 2013 and 2019 respectively. Since 2013 he works at imec on a variaty of large-area circuit applications, from TFT logic circuits to X-ray imagers, fingerprint sensors and ultrasound systems. He was involved in the successful H2020 projects DiCoMo, PING, PYCSEL, FLICS, and NEXIS. His main fascination is with DTCO, where technology meets design, evaluating how design can meeting system specifications, and how technology can be adapted to create better circuits.
