Masayoshi Higuchi was born in 1969 and obtained his PhD in 1998 at Osaka University. As soon as getting his PhD, he started working as Research Associate in Keio University then was promoted to Assistant Pro-fessor in 2003. He moved to National Institute for Materials Science in 2004 as Senior Researcher and was promoted to Principal Researcher in 2005. In this Institute he became Independent Researcher in 2007 and has been Group Leader since 2009. His research interest is metal-containing polymeric materials and their electro-chemical devices. He conducted research projects of JST-PRESTO (2007-2011), JST-CREST (2010-2016 and 2015-2021), and JST-Mirai (2021-2024) as the project leader.
