Jaekyun Kim, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor at the Department of Photonics and Nanoelectronics, Hanyang University (ERICA campus). He received BS and MS degree in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering from Korea University, 2001 and 2003, respectively. Then, he completed Ph. D in the Department of Electrical Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University, 2009. After postdoctoral work at the same institute in 2010, he joined Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology (SAIT) to investigate InGaN-based optoelectronic device on silicon substrate from 2011 to 2013. He have worked on the solution-processed organic and inorganic materials for device and sensor application from 2013 to 2015 at the Chung-Ang University as Research Professor. His current research interests include fabrication and characterization of micro/nano LEDs and metal oxide-based thin film devices for display application.
