Soo-Yeon Lee received the B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering from Seoul National University in 2009 and 2013, respectively.
After completing her Ph.D., she worked at Samsung Display as a senior engineer from 2013 to 2019. She is currently an associate professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Seoul National University. Her research interests include the development of TFTs and TFT circuits for display and neuromorphic applications. She has also served as the Chair of the Display Electronics Subcommittee for Display Week.
