Myunghee Lee is the Founder and CEO of Sapien Semiconductor Inc., an innovative fabless company focusing on Display Driver ICs for various micro-LED displays. Recently, he was a Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, UNIST (Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology), Ulsan, Korea. His industry career includes serving as Senior Vice President at Hyundai-Autron, the automotive semiconductor division of Hyundai Motor Group, and Vice President at Samsung System-LSI Division in Giheung, Korea, responsible for the Display Driver IC (DDI) Development Team. He also served as an Integrating Manager overseeing a worldwide R&D organization at Agilent Technology in San Jose, CA.

He received his B.S. in Electronic Engineering from Hanyang University, Korea, in 1984, an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ, in 1990, and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA, in 1996.
