Dr. Chul Kim is a Principal Engineer at the Samsung Display Research Center.
He earned his Ph.D. in Microelectronics from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia, in 2010.
Since then, he has worked in the LCD business of Samsung Electronics and at Samsung Display, specializing in display sensors and electronics.
In 2015, he led the world’s first mass production of a self-capacitance type LCD on-cell touch sensor for IT displays and continues to pursue research in sensor and display electronics technologies.
