My name is Dr. Jihyang Jang, and I'm a Senior researcher at LG Display, specializing in OLED device technology and advanced light extraction structures.
I earned my Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Pusan National University in 2013, where my research focused on external light extraction for OLED displays. Over the past decade, I have led core R&D projects at LG Display, including the world's first commercial application of external extraction structures in OLED TVs. Most recently, I have played a key role in the development of 4 stack OLED architecture for TV and IT display applications.
My work contributes to advancing efficiency, lifetime, and manufacturability of next-generation OLED technologies.
