Dr. Guijie Li is a professor of Zhejiang University of Technology. He received his Ph.D. degree from the State Key Laboratory of Organometallic Chemistry, Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (SIOC, CAS) in 2010 under the supervision of Prof. Yuanhong Liu and Prof. Peng George Wang. Between 2011 and 2015, he worked with Prof. Jian Li at Arizona State University as a postdoc research fellow and then an assistant research scientist before he received a faculty position and returned to Zhejiang University of Technology in 2015. His current research projects focus on the molecular design and synthesis of novel tetradentate Pt(II) and Pd(II) phosphorescent emitters and their applications in OLEDs for display. Dr. Li has published one book chapter and over 50 research papers. He also has received 120 issued patents, which include 36 issued US patents.
