Optoelectronics System Designer & Project Leader of Multi-functionnal Display
CEA-LETI
Grenoble, France
Michaël Pelissier received both engineering degree and M.S degree in Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications from the INPG (Grenoble, French Higher Institute of Engineering) in 2003 and a PhD degree from the same institute in 2006 in the optoelectronics and radiofrequency fields. After some experience in Philips Nijmegen in Netherlands, he joined University Grenoble Alpes, CEA, LETI in 2003 as permanent researcher Engineer. In 2016 he hold a visiting researcher position at the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), Cornell University, Ithaca, NY. His fields of research are radiofrequency and optoelectronics architecture & systems solution, analog RF front end design for impulse UWB, RF discrete time , sub-nyquist sampling and sparse signal processing for WLAN or cellular PMR applications. From 2019 to 2022 he led the RF Architecture and IC Design Laboratory at LETI in charge of RF et mmW Transceiver development, Front End Module and RF sensor IC designs. Targeted application encompassed not only telecommunication such as Wifi, 5G/6G, IoT solution but also RF sensor dedicated for instance to healthcare and health monitoring. Since 2023, he is leading the multifunctional display activity at CEA-LETI with a specific expertise in the optoelectronics system design. He is the author of 8 patents, 3 book-chapters and a JEDEC standardization chapter document. He has received several awards and honors including in 2011 from SEE, the award “Grand prix de l’électronique du general Ferrié” , in 2012 the award of the “national competition for start up support” from French research ministry in emerging technology and in 2015 he has been elevated to the grade of CEA expert in the field of analog electronics.
