Christophe Martinez is a Senior Optical Scientist graduated from the Institut d’Optique Graduate School. He obtained his PhD in 1999 from the University Paris-Saclay on the Design and the Manufacturing of Fiber Bragg Grating for sensors applications. He is working in CEA Leti Grenoble since 2003 and has been involved in various research areas (MOEMs, Optical data storage, Maskless lithography and holography) with a particular focus on Diffraction and Digital Image Processing. He joined the Display Laboratory in 2013 for developing research activities on optical design for Augmented Reality applications. He is currently the head of a research group working on unconventional approaches of Near Eye Displays based on holographic technologies.
Christophe Martinez is an Optica Senior Member 2022. He has been awarded in the Photonics100 2025.
Christophe Martinez is the author of about 10 publications in peer reviewed journal and of more than 40 patents.
