Kazutaka Hayashi received BE, ME and Ph.D degrees from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan, in 1990, 1992 and 1996, respectively. After joining AGC inc. (formerly Asahi Glass Co. Ltd.), he has been engaged in the research and development of glass materials for electronics field. He is a senior member of the Society for Information Display and an expert of IEC TC110 WG14 and MT-61747.
