Simon K.H. Fan-Chiang received the Ph.D. degree from the Institute of Electro-optical Engineering, National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan, R.O.C., in 2005. From 2003 to 2004, he spent a year at University of Central Florida, Orlando, as an exchange student in Prof. Shin-Tson Wu's group. Since October 2005, he has been with Himax Display, Inc., Tainan, Taiwan. His research activities focus on modeling of liquid-crystal-on silicon (LCOS) panels for AR glasses, pico-projector, and AR-HUD, etc. Now he is the senior director of engineering & operation center. He had published >50 patents and >30 academic papers.
