In part 2 of this short course, along with the latest AI technology trends such as generative AI, AI technology used to implement smart factories in the display industry is introduced. The display industry is a technology-intensive industry that requires high-level diagnosis and control, and large amounts of data are generated every day, so precise AI models are essential to replace human roles or build better performance. The specific focus is on key areas such as unmanned automation, optimization, predictive maintenance, smart inspection/virtual measurement, and introduces technologies used in each field to find out where they are applied. Through this process, we hope that AI can be actively used in the display industry, and to discover innovative values throughout research, development, and manufacturing.
