Younggil Jin is currently a senior researcher at Samsung Display’s Mechatronics Technology Research Center. He joined Samsung Display in 2018 after receiving a doctorate in system engineering from Seoul National University with work in diagnosing display processes. Based on his domain in the manufacturing industry, including AI technology, physics, he has worked as a data scientist and project manager in the AI team, and is contributing to automation and intelligence of display factories through research on various smart factory technologies such as virtual metrology, predictive maintenance, yield prediction, cause diagnosis, optimization, and reinforcement learning-based scheduling.
