Seung Hee Nam is currently a research fellow at the R&D Center of LG Display. He joined LG Display after earning his BS and MS in physics from Kyungbook National University, where he studied radiography and X-ray sensors. He joined LG Display in 2001, contributing to research on plasma and new process technologies including printed electronics, mask reduction, and process integration for display backplanes. He received his PhD in applied physics at Yonsei University for researching the oxide TFT in 2012. He then rejoined LG Display as team leader of a TFT process technology team, developing vacuum, patterning, and process integration of backplanes for OLED displays. He is currently focusing on smart processes as a research fellow, using AI/VM to achieve highly stable TFT processes in the field of displays.
